The iWay Service Manager - Part 3

iWay Service Manager comes with two primary add-on components and they are as follows:

  • Business Activity Monitoring [BAM]
  • Trading Partner Manager [TPM]

The Business Activity Monitoring, as referred to as BAM shortly, is used to monitor end-to-end transaction as processed by iWay Service Manager. Various events in a particular transaction are recorded in registered data store. This is done by an activity driver that is configured as part of BAM installation and configuration. BAM also supports creation of user defined metrics for measuring usage statistics and reporting via an in-built dashboard. The BAM console is hosted by iWay Service Manager and access is based on credentials as configured.

The Trading partner Manager, as referred to as TPM shortly, allows users to create and maintain trading partners information. TPM comes with standard functions that provides easy access to channels/process flows within a transaction. This is also done by an activity driver that is configured as part of TPM installation and configuration. The TPM console is hosted by iWay Service Manager and access is based on credentials as configured.
